Insomnia

As a passionate cricket fan, very rarely I have felt insomnia and the power cricket has in my mind as I did yesterday. After a good dinner, I decided to sleep early to gear myself for the big day. Although, it wasn’t to be; In the space of seven hours, I envisioned Indian team in multiple catch 22 situations in different phases of my life with lesser hair day by day. As I write down this note, it sounds hilarious but I had a torrid time digging the Indian team out of the hole in all the matches. Needless to say that every time India won! Such is the power of cricket in India and the magnanimity of occasion that it literally brings the whole nation together with one dream, one passion and one prayer; An Indian victory.
