Sat down by the river side, Happened to see the shadow saying lie The picture was hazy and the light was about to die Not ready to face the truth, I was shy. The day got over but I was hell bound, and the thought kept coming around. Could listen to my heart pounding with a peculiar sound, I was lost but did not want to be loud. The next day was cloudy and it was about to rain, Mustered my energy and went by the river side again, To look out for a new identity and to be sane, Unfortunately saw a lost soul about to be drained. The truth was bitter than what I had thought, But I knew I could fight the situation out, Wanted to forget the past and the callous ghost, Rediscovering the soul looked within the coast. Things were beautiful now and the picture was clear, The roads were wider and the ears could hear, All the eyes were open and there was no tinge of tear, Without a doubt, everyone looked dear. The light was brighter and the belly had a new fire, With an open vision, the destiny was
I never realized it when I met you first, When I heard your magic voice first, Nor did I realize when I had the magic touch, But I realize it now and it’s rough. Please forgive me of what I have said, Of all the things I did unstated, I know I have hurt you, But it was unintentional and was insane. I promise I will walk beside you, And will never let you go, Please walk with me beyond the mountains, Where the day stops and the night meets. I want my world written all over by you, I want you to be with me in the first rain, I want you to take me to the unknown lanes, So please come back without giving further pain. I now know you are the one, And I miss you like never before, Of all the words I can think, You come first and it never sinks.
Woke up in the morning for a new sunrise, Hoping it would bring some thing to smile. No was the answer from deep inside, When would I see a new sunrise? Lost in the mountains and the crowded lines, Can’t find it in the heavens and between the silver lines, Behind the ocean, in a deep blue sky Raised the sun with the same old sly! There was no cloud in the sky, I was happy and I wanted to fly. Before some one came and said good bye, I was left stranded to clear my eye. A new beginning was in my mind, Though my sight was at the hind. Was there any one to read between the lines? Not ready to give up, hope was my pride. The sun rose again with a different shine, Without being somber, it tasted like a wine, Came out with it a new lease of life, Oh my god I am on a high. The sun is now with a different light, So I’ll try my best to keep it alight, Would never give up and keep up the fight, Before it goes out of my sight!
